  • IHG announced that they will add up to 70 Iberostar All-Inclusive Hotels and Resorts in the Caribbean, Americas, Southern Europe, and North Africa. This becomes the Iberostar Beachfront Resorts brand, which is the 18th brand for IHG. It’s not possible to earn and redeem IHG points at these properties yet, and the properties are now shown in the IHG reservation system, but it’s redirected you to the Iberostar website, where you can view hotels and destinations. 
  • IHG just got another all-inclusive resort in Mexico – Kimpton Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park, an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. It’s currently scheduled to be open under Kimpton in 2024!
  • November 25, 2021 – Hyatt purchased AMR Collection resort this year. The first new Dream all-inclusive resort is coming to Cozumel, Mexico, and the resort is set to debut in the first quarter of 2022. This is a developing story; therefore, it’s not yet known when this resort will be listed on the Hyatt website. 
  • Added 20 NEW Marriott’s Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resorts. 
  • In addition, Marriott’s new all-inclusive Cancun Armar House, All-Inclusive, is scheduled to open sometime in April 2022. Once the property is available for redemption, I’ll add it to the list. You can see resort photos here. 
  • June 30, 2021 – Hyatt will have another all-inclusive resort in Mexico, Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. See this press release. This is a developing story; therefore, it’s not yet known when this resort is listed on the Hyatt website. 
  • Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Playa Hotels & Resorts announced exciting plans for a new Hyatt Ziva all-inclusive resort in the Cancun region. The resort is set to open later this year, 2021.     IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) All-Inclusive Resorts

    If you have one of the following eligible Chase IHG credit cards, you will receive a 4th IHG Reward Night Free on points stays of 4 consecutive nights or more. 

    • Chase IHG Traveler Credit Card Welcome Offer.
    • Chase IHG Premier Credit Card Welcome Offer.
    • Chase IHG Premier Business Credit Card Welcome Offer.
    But that’s not all. If you have the discontinued old Chase IHG Select Credit Card ($49 annual fee), you also receive a 10% rebate on points stays. Unfortunately, Chase has now changed the application rule that you will not be approved for the IHG Premier Credit Card or IHG Traveler Credit Card if you are a current card member of the IHG Select Credit Card.
    Chase IHG Premier Credit Card member also receives an IHG Anniversary Free Night, which is capped at 40,000 IHG points properties, but you can top up the free night reward certificate with IHG points for properties that require more than 40,000 points per night. On the other hand, the IHG anniversary free night reward certificate issued by the Chase IHG Select Credit Card does not have the points top-off feature. 

    Furthermore, from time to time, IHG has a promotion that offers 50% off reward nights in Mexico, Latin America & the Caribbean, allowing you to use only half of the required points per night.     Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts

    Hilton does not have an award chart anymore. They also got rid of hotel and resort categories, and they instead have a range of points required that are seasonal or peak and off-peak. They have a Hilton Online Reward Tool that helps you determine the maximum Hilton points required for a specific hotel or resort and that the price of a standard room reward will not exceed the current set maximum amount of Hilton points per night listed for each hotel. 

    Please remember that Hilton Honors Silver, Hilton Honors Gold, and Hilton Honors Diamond elite members will receive every 5th Night Free on points stays of five consecutive nights or more.

    Hyatt All-Inclusive Resorts

    Hyatt is pretty generous in award night redemption, using 100% Hyatt points. The resort fees are waived when you redeem complete Hyatt points at any Hyatt resort. This benefit also applies to the Hyatt Free Night Award earned from holding the World of Hyatt Credit Card or achieving the Hyatt Milestone Reward. This benefit, however, does not apply to Hyatt points and cash bookings. 

    In addition, Hyatt’s top-tier elite Globalist members do not pay resort fees on eligible rates and free night awards.
