The new, improved, bigger Amex Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma Airport (SEA) is nice. The lounge is arguably one of the best lounges at SeaTac airport.

In one instance, the Amex Centurion Lounge SEA was so busy that there were queues to get into the lounge. That was disappointing, provided that Amex has tightened up the guest policy for the Platinum card holders. However, there’s no denying that the Amex Centurion Lounge SEA is nice and offers many amenities worth checking out during your next layover at SEA airport.

    Location

The Amex Centurion Lounge at Seattle International Airport (SEA) is a little hard to find if you are unfamiliar with SeaTac Airport. It is because the lounge is located in the Central Terminal, which does not have the standard terminal letters such as terminal B, C, D, etc., so where exactly is the Central Terminal?
Depending on where you are, The easiest way to find the Amex Centurion Lounge at Seattle airport is to head to C terminal and go towards gate C1. After that, walk past the C1 gate and turn right toward the food court. Do not walk past C1 to C2 if you are coming from different directions other than C terminal. See the image below.

Upon entering the lounge, you’ll see tall tables and chairs; some seats have huge runway windows. There are also more bar stools by the bar area. Some seats have reserved signs on the table because those seats are exclusively for Amex Centurion Black Card members. More below.

    Food

You can always count on buffet food inside Amex Centurion Lounges. The Amex Centurion Lounge SEA is no different. The food quality is good and delicious. Ample selections of hot food, salad, soup, and desserts such as cookies and other sweet treats.

You may also find non-alcoholic beverages by the buffet area and a cool coffee bar inside the lounge. See below.

    Blue Roast Coffee Bar

One thing that stands out with Amex Centurion Lounge SEA is the coffee bar Blue Roast by Amex. The bar serves handcraft drinks, smoothies, and quick bites like sandwiches, yogurt, and kale chips. Its purpose is very much like a regular coffee shop that you are used to. Their smoothies are pre-made, and they taste excellent!

    Bathroom

Because I’m a male writing this review, I can only comment on the men’s bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom inside the Amex Centurion Lounge SEA is disappointing. It’s a small public bathroom with only two urinals and two toilet stalls. When I was there once, one of the toilet stalls was even out of service. So, you can imagine how crazy it could get when the lounge is busy and the bathroom is limited.

    Men’s Bathroom
Here’s a tip, but it depends on how fast the shower room is available if you need a more private toilet. See below.

    Shower Room

Amex Centurion Lounge SEA only has one shower room, so queues for available shower room is inevitable. The shower room has a toilet inside, and all the shower amenities, such as towels and soaps, are available inside the shower room.

Here’s how reserving the shower room works:
    • You can’t enter the shower room without a reservation.
    • Go to the front desk to reserve the shower room, and they will take your name and phone number to text you about when your turn is up to use the shower room.
    • Watch for your text. However, if one is available immediately, you’ll be escorted by the front desk staff to the shower room. Similarly, if you receive a text that the shower room becomes available, you still have to go to the front desk again to have the staff take you there.
    • S/he will use the key to open the shower room for you.
    • Limit 15 minutes of use.

    Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi access across all Amex Centurion Lounges is the same. The password is MemberSince, and it offers good internet speed.

    Conclusion

American Express Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) has been upgraded with a much bigger and larger space, offering several types of seating.
The lounge buffet quality is good, and all non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are complimentary with a set of drinks menu if needed. In addition, a coffee bar called the Blue Roast by Amex serves handcraft drinks, smoothies, and quick grab-and-go bites.
The new Amex Centurion Lounge SEA is nice except for the small bathroom. However, a good-sized shower room is available with a private toilet inside, and a reservation is required to utilize the shower room.
