Unfortunately, no.
In the past, Chase IHG Premier Credit Card offered four (4) nights that were worth up to 40,000 points each. My friend applied and was approved. However, after receiving the sign-up bonus for free nights, he could not add IHG points to redeem for hotels and resorts above the 40,000 points redemption limit. Moreover, after communicating with the IHG One Rewards team, they confirmed that it is not possible to top up the Chase IHG Premier Credit Card sign-up bonus free nights offer.
Therefore, if you apply for the Chase IHG Premier Credit Card, meet the sign-up bonus requirement, and earn the free nights sign-up bonus offer, you can only use each free night to redeem for IHG hotels and resorts at the 60,000 points redemption limit.
How About the IHG Premier Card Anniversary Free Night?
You receive one IHG Anniversary Free Night each year as a card member. The anniversary free night is worth up to 40,000 points per night; however, you can add points from your IHG One Rewards account to redeem for hotels and resorts above the 40,000 points redemption limit. This benefit remains unchanged and has nothing to do with the free night sign-up bonus offer on the Chase IHG Premier Credit Card.
