During my pleasant five-night stay at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, I also had access to the M Club as a Marriott Platinum Elite member.
The M Club lounge at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is on the top floor. Therefore, it offers a beautiful panoramic view and features indoor and outdoor seating.
Marriott Malta M Club Lounge Location and Access
The M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is on the top 13th floor. Your key must be programmed to use the elevator to that floor and to access the lounge.
Marriott Malta M Club is accessible with the following:
- Marriott Platinum Elite and above members.
- You book a room with M Club Lounge access.
M Club Lounge Hours
The M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is open 24/7, so you can visit as many times as you want for refreshments, such as non-alcoholic drinks, fruits, and cookies.
In addition, the M Club offers the following services and hours:
- Breakfast: 7 am – 11 am
- Evening Canapes: 5 pm – 7 pm
- Complimentary Alcoholic Beverages: 5 pm – 9 pm
Lounge Seats
I like the M Club seats at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa. The club lounge features both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are early, you can sit at the tables that offer a beautiful sea view. In addition, comfortable padded sofas and couches are also inside the lounge.
Breakfast
The M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa offers a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, this Marriott hotel only allows me to access the M Club for breakfast. I’ll need to pay a 13 Euros upcharge to have breakfast inside the on-site restaurant, The Marketplace. Therefore, to avoid any charges, I only had breakfast inside the M Club every morning.
While the breakfast inside the M Club is generally good, I got tired of breakfast after five days there. The reason is simple: the Marriott Malta M Club Lounge serves the same breakfast buffet every morning. However, it’s also worth mentioning that you can order a-la-carte options such as eggs benedict, fried eggs, omelets, French toast, and pancakes. But after a while, I also got tired of those breakfasts. But don’t get me wrong, the breakfast options inside the M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa are good, especially if you have a short stay.
Afternoon Service
As I mentioned above, the M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is open 24/7. So you can enter the lounge as many times as you want. You’ll find cookies and fruits along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages for consumption. Moreover, you can rest and relax inside the M Club for as long as you want.
Evening Service
The evening service inside the M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa offers small appetizers and complimentary alcoholic beverages.
Please note that you can enjoy the appetizers and alcoholic drinks from 5 pm to 7 pm and alcoholic drinks from 5 pm to 9 pm. Therefore, you have longer Happy hours for cocktail drinks.
The appetizer options are quite limited inside the M Club. During my five-night stay at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, I could not find something that I liked during the evening service. The options typically consist of two hot items: soup, cold-cut meats, bread, and desserts. In my opinion, the evening food options and quality are a bit underwhelming inside the Malta Marriott M Club Lounge.
Complimentary Alcoholic Beverages
You can enjoy all kinds of alcoholic drinks from 5 pm to 9 pm every day. The way it works is there’s a lounge staff who is acting as a “bartender” inside the M Club. He typically would go around the table and ask guests if they want anything to drink. You can also approach him at the liquor station to make your request. He’ll make the drink and take it to you at your table. Honestly, the lounge staff is top-notch when it comes to the service inside the M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa.
Desserts
There is no specific dessert time inside the M Club at Malta Marriott Resort & Spa. Sweet treats and Crème brûlée are all available at the same time during the evening appetizer service, so you can enjoy as much as you’d like.
